What to Expect from IV NAD+

NAD+ is a “master antioxidant” that needs regular upkeep. It definitely is a commitment needing to have regularly scheduled appointments. When starting an NAD+ journey, you need to have what is called a loading dose which is a larger dose than normal. Meaning that we are onboarding your body with a certain concentration of the antioxidant. Then every week you will need regularly scheduled maintenance doses which are smaller doses than the original.

The benefits outweigh the hassle. Trust me. Some benefits of the treatment include:

  • Restoring brain function and reducing the risk of neurological disorders

  • Improving cognitive function and memory

  • Restoring muscle function

  • Improving athletic performance

  • Boosting a weight-loss regimen

  • Reducing fatigue

  • Slowing the aging process

  • Battling anxiety and depression

The NAD+ treatments do feel slightly different from usual IV treatments because of the strength of the active ingredient. Some clients report feeling sinus congestion, pressure in their chest, or cramps while the infusion is taking place. It is all very normal due to the excitability of the mitochondria in your body as a response to the additional NAD+. If any of these symptoms become too uncomfortable, you can always report them to the nurse performing the drip. The drip can be slowed down so as to not put too much stress on your cells. It does hit the system quickly, allowing for optimal absorption and immediate results. Your first IV NAD+ treatment results last around 4 days to 2 weeks.
