FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT IV DRIPS IN NYC
Commonly Asked Questions
-
Yes. Navo dispatches a licensed IV infusion registered nurse to wherever you are — your home, hotel room, or office — anywhere in our service area, with same-day appointments available.
Your nurse arrives with everything needed for the session, reviews your intake answers and medical history, takes baseline vital signs, places the IV, and stays with you for the full appointment rather than leaving you to finish alone. Most drips run 30 to 90 minutes; a booster shot on its own takes about 15 minutes. Vitals are taken again once the drip is complete, and all supplies are packed out when your nurse leaves.
Mobile pricing runs $300–$650 depending on the drip. To book, use the Mobile IV Drips page, or call or text (646) 963-9222.

Two ways: at one of our three partner spas in Manhattan, or at your own location with a mobile nurse.
In-spa, by appointment:
iLa Only Spa — Lotte New York Palace Hotel, 455 Madison Avenue, Floor 8, New York, NY 10022 (Midtown East)
The Surrey Spa featuring Sisley Paris — 20 E 76th St, Floor 2, New York, NY 10021 (Upper East Side)
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, NoMad — 25 W 28th St, Floor C-2, New York, NY 10001 (NoMad)
Bring a photo ID for building check-in and again at our reception, and arrive 10 minutes early for a short pre-infusion consult.

Three ways, whichever is easiest:
Book online on the Mobile IV Drips page — pick your drip, pick a time, and enter your address at checkout.
Call or text (646) 963-9222. If you are not sure which drip you need, this is the fastest route; you will speak with someone on the medical team who can match a formula to what you are actually dealing with.
Email support@mynavo.com.
Same-day appointments are available. A credit card is required at the time of booking to hold the slot — you can still pay cash when the nurse arrives if you prefer. You will complete a short intake form when you schedule, and your nurse will go back through those questions in person for verification.
Cancellations inside 24 hours of the appointment are charged a $75 late cancellation fee. If our nurse cannot reach you within 15 minutes of the start time, the full service is charged.

Yes. Every Navo drip is administered by a licensed registered nurse — our nurses come out of emergency and intensive care backgrounds — and all clinical services are provided under the supervision of independent professional medical corporations. Nutrients are sourced from FDA-approved facilities.
What that looks like in practice: you are screened before treatment, your nurse takes vital signs before and after the infusion and monitors you throughout, and the nurse remains present for the entire appointment rather than starting the drip and leaving.
For most people the only sensations are slight soreness at the insertion site and possibly a small bruise afterward. You may also feel the fluid going in as a cool sensation in the arm, or taste some of the vitamins — both are normal. Serious adverse reactions are extremely rare.
IV therapy is not appropriate for everyone. It is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have severe or uncontrolled kidney, liver, or heart conditions. Tell us about every medication, supplement, and diagnosis at intake — if you have a medical condition, a drip may still be possible with a completed medical clearance form, which we will send you. And as with any medical treatment, if you ever experience shortness of breath, hives, chest pain, an abnormal heartbeat, or swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, call 911 and get to the nearest emergency room.
-
IV drip therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into your bloodstream through a small catheter placed in a vein, usually in the arm.
Because the nutrients go straight into circulation, they skip the digestive tract entirely — which is what separates a drip from a supplement. An oral vitamin has to survive the stomach and be absorbed through the gut wall, and only a fraction of the dose reaches your blood. Delivered intravenously, the full dose is available to your body, and hydration is immediate rather than gradual.
A session runs 30 to 90 minutes depending on the formula. Navo offers 11 drips built for different goals — hydration and recovery, immune support, migraine relief, skin and beauty, cellular energy with NAD+ and Niagen® NR, and others — and the effects of an IV infusion generally last one to two weeks. We recommend no more than four drips per month.
-
Both put nutrients into your body without routing them through your digestive system, but they take different paths and work on different timelines.
IV drips go intravenously, straight into the bloodstream through a catheter. Absorption is complete and immediate: the full dose is available to your body from the moment it enters. Some drips produce near-instant results, others take a few minutes to an hour to be felt. Effects generally last one to two weeks.
Booster shots (IM injections) go into muscle tissue, which releases the nutrients into the bloodstream gradually rather than all at once. That makes them slower to take effect than a drip, but the slower release often means a longer duration. A booster-only appointment takes about 15 minutes, versus 30 to 90 for a drip.
Which one suits you depends on what you are after. A drip makes sense when you want volume — real rehydration, a larger nutrient dose, and a faster turnaround. A booster makes sense for a targeted single nutrient, for maintenance between drips, or when you only have a few minutes. Boosters can also be added to a drip appointment. Call or text (646) 963-9222 and the medical team will help you decide.

Navo provides IV therapy and booster shots to adults between the ages of 18 and 65. We do not treat anyone under 18.
Age is only part of eligibility. Every client is screened by a licensed provider before treatment, and IV therapy is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have severe or uncontrolled kidney, liver, or heart conditions. If you are over 65, or inside the age range but managing a medical condition, a drip may still be possible with a medical clearance form completed by your physician — email support@mynavo.com and we will send it over.
